• Manage quality assurance program including on site evaluations, internal audits and customer surveys.
• Provide continued surveillance inspection of all aircraft audits and inspections of ongoing maintenance actions, procedures, tool boxes, equipment use.
• Implement quality control/safety programs to ensure compliance with contract specifications
• Inspect, verify proper completion and documentation of all components installed/modified
• Manage aircraft parts, team members, planning, scheduling, and performance of maintenance, repair, and modification to airframe, avionics, sub-systems, and related support equipment
• Supervise power-on checks and troubleshooting procedures on aircraft related systems
• Accurately filed and maintained all related maintenance forms and records
• Apply comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as aircraft Technical Manuals, Maintenance Information and Action Messages and all technical guidance provided through government official representatives
• Supervise and mentor team members on UH60-A/L/M aircrafts undergoing Reset programs.
• Responsible for providing daily percentage complete status of all assigned UH60-A/L/M aircrafts, to include identifying any manpower level requirements, parts issues, and request/completion of Maintenance Engineer Calls to Program Management and Government representatives for delays, development of mitigation plans and coordinates with relevant AMCOM AFM departments
• Maintain currency of all training and procedural compliance requirements of assigned team members necessary to perform their tasks
• Supervise UH60-A/L/M aircrafts Maintenance Ground Runs and Test Flight activities as required
• Performed and supervised UH60-A/L/M aircraft services and rigging of flight control systems
• Trained team members on various UH60-A/L/M aircraft test/diagnostic equipment (i.e. Stabilator Amplifier Test Sets, Aircraft Computer Tests Sets, and Fuel Integrity Tests Sets) as well as ground support equipment such as overhead hoists/winches, hydraulic cart units, forklift, industrial power generators, and compressed gas servicing carts
• Supervise team members on proper UH60-A/L/M aircraft towing procedures, aircraft jacking, fuel integrity test, landing gear/wheel servicing
• Perform UH60-A/L/M aircraft component and shop inspections to assure compliance with Army technical and related directives by examining on-going work for compliance with contractual provisions; ensures all services listed on performance requirements summary are performed in satisfactory manner, specifies areas to be inspected (scheduled and unscheduled) and how often inspections will be accomplished, communicates deficiencies to proper persons; verifies that established standards are maintained relative to such matters as processing, product-packaging, storage and transportation methods, business practices, operations and services
• Inspect incoming material and modification kits for compliance with purchase order or contract standard requirements, quantity and condition
• Develop and implement quality control and ground safety programs to ensure compliance with contract specifications
• Review maintenance source documents, inspection records, notes recurring discrepancies or trends and initiates appropriate action
• Manage material deficiency and technical order improvement program
• Initiate and review quality deficiency reports, technical deficiency reports and hazardous material reports
• Ensure compliance with aircraft configuration control, Army oil analysis Program and test measuring diagnostic equipment calibration
