Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and reconcile cash accounts on a daily basis, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner
• Process payments, including electronic transfers, checks, and credit card payments, and ensure that all payments are recorded and reconciled appropriately
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciling accounts and preparing financial statements.
• Analyzing and identifying any discrepancies or issues and working with other teams to resolve them.
• Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders, including other members of the finance team, as well as external stakeholders, such as clients.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Additionally, I was a part of Tietoevry Banking separation project.

As the most experienced Cash Accountant at Tietoevry Banking, I was a part of a small team of four, ensuring smooth daily operations while providing guidance and constructive feedback to my colleagues. I worked closely with other departments to resolve issues, improve workflows, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

I was also responsible for testing the accounting system, ensuring data accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and troubleshooting system-related issues.
Additionally, I maintained direct communication with the Tietoevry Banking Head of Operations, providing updates on team progress and addressing operational challenges.
