Be aware of the danger of large and heavy elements, paying special attention to safety aspects - safe slinging, lifting and placing.
Responsibilities of the team safety specialist: every day before starting work at the site, determine the assembly areas and high danger areas on the construction site with the supervisor or team leader. All working areas should be inspected and appropriately fenced off with safety fencing and warning signs. Inspect, if necessary organize the unloading/loading area. Clear unloading area from unwanted obstacles ensuring safe delivery and transport movement. In cooperation with the crane operator carry out the lifting of the crane lifting capacity control weight every morning. Ensure appropriate fire safety measures by placing fire extinguishers in fire hazard areas, in places of welding and other hot/fire-hazardous work, additionally covering, or if possible moving, flammable materials with fire/spark absorbing or limiting means. Weekly safety walk in the site together with the site safety manager, identifying, evaluating and developing a prevention plan, dangerous areas, occurrence of work process situations, applying appropriate safety solutions. Pay attention to compliance with work safety requirements of colleagues: use anti-fall safety systems and other individual or collective work protection means.
